Nullwake
A downloadable game for Windows
Nullwake demo
In this demo, you find yourself in a strange, quiet place that feels… strange. Not dangerous, not dramatic—just strange, in the sense that it begs the question: “Why does everything here feel a little off?”
There's fog everywhere, empty houses, cracked roads, a long silence. No one's chasing you, no one's jumping out—but everything around you seems to be hiding something and pretending otherwise.
Fun.
What is this demo about?
"Nullwake" is built on a gradual buildup of tension. No loud, scary noises, no explosions—just the constant pressure you feel when your brain constantly says,
"Okay... something here is definitely watching me."
The demo demonstrates the mood, visuals, and atmosphere we're aiming for. Even the smallest details matter—lighting, sounds, shadows, doors opening too slowly, the wind suddenly dying down.
Where will you explore?
You'll be walking through one of the first locations in the full game. It's quiet, a little uneasy, and she really likes to pretend everything is fine.
The graphics emphasize realism and mood: cool colors, long shadows, broken buildings, and an overall feeling of "yeah... this place needs therapy."
What will you experience?
Despite its brevity, the demo video gives a real idea of:
- slow research
- subtle world-building
- early game mechanics
- the general "Nullwake atmosphere"
There is nothing random here - everything has some meaning, even if that meaning is “you will understand it later.”
After the demonstration
If you like this atmosphere, the full version expands it in all directions:
- more areas to explore
- more tension
- more secrets
- and a deeper journey into places that absolutely shouldn't exist

Hi there, I really love the game because it looks super amazing. I bought the full release on Steam but could not get pass the director's office, Idk what I didn't understand there but I tried hard and failed even harder. So I had to refund the game because I simply could not progress with the story. If the dev is watching this, could you please tell me what went wrong? I'd really like to play this game and buy it again. For now, I played the demo and again got stuck at the same place. :(
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words — it really means a lot to me as the developer. I’m very happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game!
About the part where you got stuck: there’s a small door on the floor in the director’s office. To progress, you just need to press CTRL to crouch/sit and then interact with that floor-level door. It’s easy to miss, so no worries!
If you ever decide to give the game another try, I’d be really glad to hear your thoughts again. And thank you once more for taking the time to write this!
And in future, if you will have any problems(cuz quests is quite hard here) you can alright to us in steam discussion section or in our discourse server.
Hi, thanks so much for helping out! I'll definitely buy the game later today again and play it and leave a Steam review after! It genuinely looks incredible and like something that I would play regardless of YT. My apologies for refunding it before asking, but usually when I ask the devs just ignore me, so I thought I'd get ignored this time too. But you seem to care about your game and players, so thank you for that! :)
P.S. Yes, I'm not good with puzzles at all, so this is entirely my fault then.
Hey! Thanks a lot for the kind words — seriously, it means more than you think.
And no worries at all about the refund, that’s completely understandable. Most players assume devs won’t answer, so we get it.
Our studio always tries to listen to players and help with anything they need. Whether it’s puzzles, bugs, questions, or just feedback — we’re here.
If you ever get stuck again or want some hints, just message us anytime. We’re always happy to help.
Thanks again for giving Nullwake another chance — we really appreciate it. 😊
Thank you for being cool about it all and helpful. I did end up buying it again and managed to go quite far in the story, all the way to the cabin (and it's been awesome), I'll make a part 2 soon. Tho I think there might be something wrong with the safe box in the cabin, I found the code but there's a bug, it won't always let you enter the numbers. Any suggestions before I make the part 2? :)
This game surprised me hard — the graphics look insane, the atmosphere never lets you relax, and the scares hit way louder than they should. Super clean, super creepy, and honestly way better than I expected
Thanks so much! Glad the atmosphere and scares hit you — more updates coming soon!
Imagine walking through a dead town with graphics so realistic your brain keeps telling you something is behind you… and sometimes it actually is. The whole vibe is tense as hell, the scares hit out of nowhere, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you should not even be here. It is the kind of horror that makes you laugh at yourself after jumping like an idiot. Respect guys
Thanks! Really glad the atmosphere worked for you. The full version goes even deeper into the tension and the weirdness — hope you check it out!
